The Life & Death of Mr. Badman was the next book in our queue (in 2024) to update to modern English—until a reader of our books gave us a link to Mr. Vermilye's site. The sample pages read very well, it is available in hardcover, paperback, audiobook, and KindleUnlimited; is reasonally priced and in the top 1% of books on Amazon. Even the two-star, three-star, and four-star reviews read like five-star reviews! There is no reason to compete when so many Puritan classics are waiting for modern language editions.

An excellent and accurate modernization of John Bunyan's important classic! I chose this over the PDF original because of the difficulty in some of the old English language words. The author is faithful to not add his own interpretation and to carefully include all the original scripture verses. I am using it for my own study in preparation for a church adult class presentation. —RLS
Not an easy book to read because it exposes! I have always enjoyed John Bunyan's books. It's written simply, but has such depth. I wanted to learn more about the fear of God and was delighted when I saw this book by Bunyan. I learnt loads and he give great application into this book too. Thank you Mr. McReynolds for bringing this book into modern English. I think you did a great job. —KC
