Museum Misconception: A Ranger Twins Mystery by Chris Smart. Chris is my grandson. He finished his first book at age eleven and the sequel at age twelve. Those Sci-Fi thrillers for Young Readers are currently on the back-burner undergoing revisions. Even those first efforts were page-turners. With thirty-two years in the bookstore business and some as a writer, grandpa was tossing in little bits of budding author realities while mom, aunts, and grandmothers were gushing over his accomplishments. But Chris has now hit his stride! This is bestseller material and the first draft of the sequel is now finished. This book has very little religious content—just good clean fun reading. ~ Roger McReynolds ~
Being the sons of a retired police detective, Dylan and Derek Ranger have always been surrounded by mysteries. But they never could have guessed that they’d end up at the center of one of their own. This changed when one of them spots something peculiar at the local museum on their twelfth birthday. When no one takes their claims seriously, it becomes up to these amateur sleuths to find the truth. Did they just let their imaginations run away with them, were the adults right to dismiss their assertions? That’s the million-dollar question in this Museum Misconception

Museum Misconception: Museum Misconception is a great wholesome mystery that kept my 7 children wanting just one more chapter read each evening! You'll find yourself wishing you too could visit Wood Stack and meet the Ranger Twins. We all highly suggest reading this book aloud to an audience of boys and girls. Although the main characters are a set of twin boys, my five daughters enjoyed the story just as much as their two brothers. We are looking forward to more adventures in Wood Stack....hoping a second book comes out soon!I We had many discussions and speculations on what would happen next in the story, and hope your family does too! —Angela

Museum Misconception: Character development, captivating storyline, suspense, and twists and turns along the way… this book has it all. I found it hard to put the book down! I particularly enjoyed the element of brothers working together as sleuths. Overall, it is a wholesome mystery packed with suspense and complex characters. My husband and I both want to visit Wood Stack and our new friends there, if only in the next book! We look forward to reading the next book in the series! Well done. —library sub
Museum Misconception: Like all great book series the first installment is but a small taste of what’s yet too come. Chris Smart is a good friend of mine and has shared many ideas he has for his book series. Two young boys who follow in there Father’s footsteps in solving the mystery of a mysterious painting; solving this case on their own; and coming to the great conclusion; let’s just say there’s more to come…much, much more. —Andrew G.
Ashton Abduction. Picking up after the last mystery left off, the new case at hand comes with much more then trying to solve a mystery, but saving a life and keeping a promise to a friend. What makes the story even more thrilling is knowing the consequences of what should happen if they fail, or worse, get involved. Chris has written his latest installment to keep you guessing what has really happened and leave you stumped while hoping the twins are not too late.
